Emergency First Responder – First Aid Level 3

Emergency First Responder L3 – also known as Advanced First Aid or Level 3, is the highest first aid qualification obtainable. Learners are normally required to have a Standard First Aid Level 2 prior to doing this course, however, a Level 1-3 combined course can be arranged if needed.

Learners need to be 16years or older to complete this course due to the nature of the course content.

Course Duration:

  • 40 Hours excluding the Exam. Normally taught over five full days.
  • Minimum of 6 learners, maximum 12 learners per class

  • Rescue carries
  • Chest injuries
  • Hand injuries
  • Eye injuries
  • Multiple casualty management (Triage)
  • Pelvic and abdominal injuries
  • Environmental injuries
  • Poisons, bites and stings
  • Medical conditions
  • Elementary and applied anatomy and physiology
  • Water emergencies (Including basic water rescue techniques)
  • Psychological emergencies
